Ideally I would like sprung ones so will have to wait and see. On Lendon's Hornby spares list ,updated to 20/10/20, they say most parts are in stock or available to order, however all the buffers in the thread are not even listed so who knows when they will ever appear?! At £2-3 for 100 screws your not risking much and buying several sizes of M1.5 / M1.6 is well worth it, as they cover most of my Bachmann locos too... £20 you’d be set for a lifetime, and a jewellers glasses screws repair kit (usually 1000 mixed screws for c£5) will cover you for every other eventuality. Roy They may have been, I bought the body online and a chassis somehow made its way to me, when I assembled it, after a few matches those screws did the job. Ive several thousand screws of under m2 size, probably less than £50 all in, but considering how many £3.99 sets of 4 there are on ebay, it doesn't take long for my investment to break even... and bonus points from the family / inlaws for fixing glasses. Squirrel Rail
After my selection of battered 90s, apart from mainline 90033, here is another pristine one that's just about done, will fit a detail pack one end but otherwise all there ( I think). I have added the white lamp irons, back of the cab roofs into white, shock absorbers from grey to blue, new numbers and plates and the roof hatches into dark grey. Excuse the droopy cable to the pantograph!

Johnson Street IEMD
Yeah I thought I'd stick my head by and see what they were up to I think it was them who actually did the work for my Malcolm Rail 90, and saw the Freightliner green 90016.

James90012
The Hornby GNER 90024 models always used to reach strong interest on eBay, I'm sure a super detailed one would be popular. Your work certainly has peaked my interest in what is my favourite class - created a long wishlist of locos!

RMweb Premium DRS Crewe On A Mission Posted November 18, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 18, 2020 Hi all, I wonder if anyone could help me please? I don't wish to divert the topic to the prototype 90s but I have a couple of questions regarding their current duties, as I am sure that myself along with many others expects that Bachmann will release another batch of 90s next year. So the answers to these questions will inform which models I decide to buy in OO Gauge. Currently, is the only duty for the active DB 90s the Mossend to Daventry and return Daventry to Mossend Malcolm intermodal service? Also, if their are other regular services and/or regular ad hoc services that are currently worked by DB 90s please could someone tell me the information for these particular trains and services? Also does anyone know how long DB have had the Malcolm intermodal contract for? I know that the specially branded 90024 was vinyled a few years ago now, so I am assuning that the contract had already commenced when 90024 gained it's Malcolm livery. I ask because if the Malcolm intermodal service is the only regular work that the DB 90s currently have, I am just wondering how much I would want to operate this train in OO, and the cost of a pair of 90s to work this train, and if it would be efficient buying two DB 90s for just one train for them to work. Although the Malcolm 90024, DB Glider 90037 and DB 'Large Logo' Red branded 90s, 019, 028 and 035 are all really nice liveries, I may be tempted to opt for a Freightliner orange 90, or two to work some intermodal trains given that the Freightliner 90s work a larger amount of services and diagrams, rather than just the one service that the DB 90s appear to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
