gwernol
The Stevington and Turvey Light Railway is a private 2ft gauge railway in deepest Bedfordshire. It has been run by a small group since the 1980s and has a fine collection of diesel locomotives. Sadly, due to a series of metal thefts, the railway has now closed down at its original location. I was lucky enough to visit on the last running day of the railway, and took a set of photos which I hope you will you enjoy. The good news is the track and rolling stock are moving to a new, secure location in Woburn which will give the team a proper workshop and 1/2 mile of railway. They hope to be up and running in a few months. Dan
