Mike at C&M
I have a customer who requires some guidance. He is running Graham Farish 'Blue Riband' Mark 1 coaches on Peco radius 2 tracks (10 3/8 inch radius) He is wanting to fit Dapol magnetic couplings to the coaches, but does not know which ones to use. So can some please tell us whether he needs to use small arm, medium arm or long arm couplings. Thank you.
Les1952
Probably one short and one medium between each pair of coaches. A cheaper method might be to use Farish's own short NEM couplers within each set of coaches with a magnetic coupler at the outer (usually brake) ends. Rakes that are routinely split at a station would have a magnetic coupler on both coaches at the point at which the train is split. Just a thought Les
