Normally I start to draw up the floor plan in January but I started a few weeks ago I needed to ensure everything fits as we have some big layouts confirmed, and our spreadsheed had flagged up the point that we have around 20% more space on confirmed layouts than this year, so thought it best to try and see if it would fit in!.

Hello

I have just uploaded the Railex 2015 website, this can be found on the below link

www.railex.org.uk

As you can see a good amount of Railex 2015 is now booked, and I will continue to update the website with more stands as conformations of them come through.

Thanks

Just finalizing the floor plan and everything fits just!

I still have the societies to firm up and once they have all confirmed will add them to the list.

As in previous years we will be selling tickets on the Railex vintage bus so you don't have to buy them from the stadium.

The bus on the Saturday will also be running every half hour morning and afternoon as people using it has increased year on year. It will run hourly on the Sunday.

Well here is the Railex floor plan, you will have to wait a while before the stand numbers are matched with the names unless anyone wants to guess what they are.I have spend most of the day doing Railex admin who would be an exhibition manager!David

Happy to swap roles for an afternoon David. So far we have done 4 feeds, 5 nappies, 2 full outfits and several cuddles with no1 son. In between I have taken out the dirties, washed his clothes, cleaned bottles and had 30 mins on the internet looking at trains (on his behalf clearly). Still, it the best job in the world :-)

Although it was our tenth show last year, it was ten years ago in 2005 that we staged the first Railex in the new format so a bit like RMWeb it is Railex 10th birthday this year too.

To be fair back then it was unlikely there was much promotion of the show on line. and we had no idea if the quality show would work or if we would get enough visitors to break even. Well the first show was went well and eleven shows on I think Railex still has the values of quality layouts and trade we laid down in 2005.

Hopefully we will have a full colour programme for the first will all layouts having track plans (just to keep Kenton happy!)

Next few days I will be printing and sending out all the exhibitor packs, I include in this places to eat and drink in Aylesbury and update it each year, It was brought to my attention that the Chinese restaurant called the China Brasserie I had listed as the China Brassiere, which is more smash and grab than cantonese food!

That's my place booked, have you the car parking space reserved for me as well? Or is it ticketing only behind the boiler house again?
