Opening times Sat. 10.00am ??“ 5.00pm Sun. 10.00am ??“ 4.00pm Admission Adults - ??2.00 Children (under 15) & OAPs - ??1.00 There will be at least 8 layouts. Trade Stand. Demonstrations and displays. trains12 Posted November 17, 2009 Author Share Posted November 17, 2009 Hi all Is there anybody in the North Wales area who has layout about 12ft to 16ft long who could bring it to the show in Dec. Due to unforeseen circumstances two layout have had to drop out and also Martin on Kinmundy will possibly not be able to come to operate it on the Sat. due to work. The layout will be there but with limited use. If any one can help it would be most appreciated. Reasonable expenses are paid as well as a meal (soup, sandwiches cake etc) and free tea coffee, sorry lads no beer. I can be either PM or e mail at :- trains12@btinternet.com Hope somebody out there can come, further a field are welcome but we have limited money for expenses. Great Tunsley Dale Layout 4mm Fine Scale OO Gauge Layout Based on Tunstead Quarry in Derbyshire by Peter Midwinter Waterley Cross The Clubs 7mm O Gauge Fine Scale Layout Kinmundy A Scottish Based Layout built for Martin Jones 4mm Scale EM Gauge by Martin Jones Johnstown 9mm N Gauge Layout by Norman Beaumont Chederall 4mm OO Gauge Tramway Layout Based on Locations of Cheshire & Derbyshire by Doug Pritchard Underhill 4mm OO Gauge Layout Representing a Small Town Terminus by Brian Carpenter Talerddig Sidings 4mm OO Gauge Shunting Layout in Diorama by Matt Demonstrator's Dave Humphreys will be demonstrating Dioramas, Stock Weathering in N Gauge. Jason Edmonds will be demonstrating on DCC Fitting & Fitting Directional Lighting including Cab Lighting on Loco's. Peter Midwinter will be demonstrating copper clad track building. Merfyn Jones Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Hi Peter If you are unable to fill the vacant space with a layout for next weekend, I have my small diorama of a goods yard to display B R road vehicles. (Photo attached) It is about 1m x 600mm and requires a table. Also I could fill a further table with railway road vehicles from other eras. Best wishes with the show. Merfyn. Warm friendly atmosphere with plenty of room to get a good close look at the layouts. Thanks to Pete, Wendy and all involved in the show.
