Andy Y
KMRC_Clay_Tiger_3.jpg Will this be corrected ? There are revisions to be made. It is an EP sample for the commissioner to check and mark revisions necessary.
97403_Ixion
Hi all, While looking for other things, I noticed the following two products on Kernow's website today, showing decorated versions of their Tiger wagons: White PBA: http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/29391/SB002C-DJ-Models-PBA-TIGER-China-Clay-Wagon-number-TRL-11605 Blue JIA: http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/43598/SB002J-DJ-Models-JIA-TIGER-China-Clay-Wagon-number-33-70-9382065 Looking superb! Cheers, Ixion.
No Decorum
Thank you for pointing me at those. I’ve had the white ones ordered since 2012 and I have just added the blues. They do look excellent but then, I have a weakness for modern wagons.
rob D2
Those look great and perfect for my next plank ! And my birthdays in April !
dj_crisp
The White PBA looks rather good... I won't be able to resist
JohnH
Those look great and perfect for my next plank ! And my birthdays in April ! Is April (2017?) the expected delivery date for these?
No Decorum
Is April (2017?) the expected delivery date for these? I shouldn’t think so. Kernow has given no delivery date as yet and hasn’t said that tooling has started – just that the first painted sample was received in January. RMweb Gold Revolution Mike Posted March 14, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 14, 2017 hasn’t said that tooling has started – just that the first painted sample was received in January. You won't get a painted sample unless tooling has been started (and largely completed)... Cheers, Mike

SouthernMafia
Looking very nice. Need to preorder 4 but no space on the credit card this month, hopefully they take another month or two to arrive. With the 4TC due in "Summer" as well I think I'm going to have to start selling some limbs to pay for it all!

No Decorum
Hm. Kernow said that it wasn’t possible to honour the original price (fair enough) but something would be done for people who ordered early. I wonder what that will be. I dare say I shall find out soon enough, when Kernow has worked around to my order. They look impressive.
bubbles2
I have just spoken to Kernow and there is a discount for pre-orders plus loyalty points added which if taken into account brings the price down to under £35 (I think that's correct), they are emailing people who have ordered at the moment. I have asked them to hold back my wagons until the St Blazey stores wagon is also in to save on postage.

Appreciate preorder price removed for the first 4, but theres now nothing on the other versions either...used to be able to preorder for £39.99 and £44.99 respectively.... LaGrange
Given this model was almost 3 (or 8) years in the making it had better be flawless
bescotbeast
A very good model that is a great addition to the Railfreight scene, my only gripe is a wagon of this length, should have been fitted with cam couplers like those fitted to coaching stock and wagons from Continental manufactures. The couplers are fitted directly to the Y25 bogies and on some of my tighter curves I'm getting buffer lock.
mevaman
I would always want couplings attached to bogies. The cam mechanisms can stick leading to derailments, especially when propelling. I for one, am glad that Kernow have reversed the trend.

RMweb Gold griffgriff Posted July 1, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2017 Recieved today and all I can say is it's ok. What does that mean? OK it's fine and dandy? Or OK it's just OK? Griff
NIRCLASS80
Ok just above average Ok. There are aspects that have been nicely executed but one or two that just look weak compared to the like of the Bachmann Polybulk that raised the bar of expectation. GordonC
I received 4 in a pack with the 37670 limited edition at a good price and am very pleased with them. A good model of a very distinctive wagon
