BrushType4
I was asked a while ago to do a bespoke shed based on my single road shed kit. My customer has sent me some build in progress pictures. I think it's looking great.
BrushType4
A welsh GWR signal box I recently completed.
BrushType4
Someone asked if I did LMS buildings, so after a busy evening on the cutter I finished off by cutting out this little fellow. The glue is still a bit wet in the roof and will probably need a bit of superglue to keep glued down firmly.

BrushType4
A little side project on a local signal box. Initial drawings but other things to do, but I'll come back to this from time to time.

bgman
Extremely nice work above, may I ask, did you produce the huts from card ? Ironically I've been talking with someone in Devon this afternoon who showed me some roof pantiles which were one of the best offerings I have seen and they were produced using card. Personally, with the greatest respect, I do prefer what can be produced with a laser as opposed to many 3D products so far. Very much enjoying your work on here. Yes, it is single faced corrugated card. Pretty simple really. Just a bit hard to get hold off in the UK, but is used for decorative packaging and coffee cup holders! bgman
Ah! Yes of course, the coffee cup holders ...... Excuse me I'm just off to Latte World ( might even pinch, sorry, borrow a few of their stirrers too !!! ). Excellent use of an oft discarded item. Thank you

BrushType4
On another thread I was reminded that I did some experimenting with adding texture to laser engraved building and especially for stonework. So here is an example of some laser cut stone work. It would definitely benefit from some careful painting but it has given me some more ideas on how to develop the idea. BrushType4
Signal Box build. Interior walls and floor laid out ready. All slots together and with just a little glue, the clamps and the best of all universal clamps, a couple of elastic bands holding it all together until set.
Hendrikdc
How did you do that brickwork? Proper engraving or as cutlines but at different laser settings/laser beam out of focus? I'm planning on doing brickwork on my own buildings but would love to learn from others tests!
Barrington
Is it possible to purchase these sheds in 4mm scale or do you only manufacture them in 7mm? Some update pictures of my Westbury based diesel shed. Feedback welcome.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg image.jp
Draughtsman
Try this for a laugh! I'll do a brick tutorial this evening. Thank you for Interesting informative postings. Did you post a brick tutorial anywhere?
BrushType4
Is it possible to purchase these sheds in 4mm scale or do you only manufacture them in 7mm? I specialise in 7mm but I can be persuaded to dabble in 4mm. Thank you for Interesting informative postings. Did you post a brick tutorial anywhere? No, but I will. Keep checking back over the next couple of days.
BrushType4
Today has been busy and I've got a couple of these sheds coming out of the workshop today. One will be a through road and the other is going to be a traditional engine shed.
