S.A.C Martin
I reviewed what must have been his last publication on my blog last year: Farewell to trains. It was a terrific read and very well put together. Since reading that I sought out other titles he had written. For someone so prolific in publishing I find it incredible that I had not come across his work previously. Very sad news when anyone associated with railways dies, moreso when you've only just discovered their genius and knowledge.
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted August 25, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 25, 2014 Sad news but he could reportedly be 'crusty' sort at times (and was not very prompt at paying in my limited experience of his company).
