I was in the local model shop yesterday and noticed some fliers for the Newhaven MRC Exhibition in Eastbourne so since I can't find a topic for it anywhere I thought I would bring it to peoples attention. It is being held at the Heron Park Academy (formerly Highfield School) using the entrance on The Hydneye GOOGLE MAPS LINK on the 25th and 26th of October (10am - 5pm Saturday 10am - 4pm Sunday) Its only a 5 min walk from Hampden Park Station. I have copied the list of Layouts, Traders and Demonstrations from the Newhaven MRC Website Layouts attending are:- Borchester Market OO Great Central, Adleyshaw Loco MPD OO, Fawcett Street OO Shunting layout, Hobbs Hill OO Southern Region, CrossNess OO BR Southern Region, On30 Layout Work in Progress, Bulverhythe 3mm Southern Railway, Radford Junction 3mm London, Brighton & South Coast Railway, Ballyconnell Road 3mm Irish Standard Gauge, 3mm Society Stand, Bodiam & Camber Sands O gauge Southern Region, Three Bridges N gauge American, National Model Railroad Association Display Stand, Brighthampton N gauge Southern Region EMUs, Meinrheinszene N gauge German Scenic, 009 Narrow Gauge layout, Traders:- Invicta Model Shop OO/N gauge sales, Brians Trains N/HO American & European Rolling Stock sales, Matthew Cousins Railway Art & O gauge Childrens Have a Go Layout, Newhaven MRC Club Shop Sales, Tony Mud Modelling Materials Sales, Simply Southern Wagons Sales, Kent & East Sussex Railway Society Sales, Ralph Gillam Sales for Brighton Atlantic Society, Railroad Trading American & British Railway Books & Rolling Stock, Colin Morris Models Sales, Demonstrations:- Peter Hazleton & Brittania Pacific Models Kit-building, Refreshments available and 5inch Gauge Live Steam Ride-on Railway running outside. If anyone reading this is familiar with the venue, can I get in with a wheelchair? I don't want to attempt it on crutches and land in someones layout! crompton 33 Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Directions to the show. Come out of the station turn right go to the roundbout take the 2nd exit off . The Hydney it's just up there on the right. By bus from eastbourne you need to get the loop going clock wise get off at the hydney. Saturday they run every 15 min's sunday one a hour.
