This evening we worked out how to get everything into the van and over to Calne. This is promising.

Despite the forecast for snow overnight, it is pouring with rain here at the moment.

The forecast for the weekend doesn't look too bad. It looks as though we will not be seeing a repeat of the 2013 snow show.

Work progresses on putting the finishing touches to some new details to go on Embankment Road, keep an eye out for them at Calne.

Tracks cleaned, wheels cleaned. Ready to pack after work tonight!

Say hello if you're passing by over the weekend!

An enjoyable show as always, some wonderful layouts that really got the creative juices flowing. Such a good show its the only one that the Mrs will come along too, even pointing out some 'bargains' to me!

See you all again tomorrow!

That was an interesting day. One visitor left the show by ambulance and two club members spent part of the evening sitting in the back of a police car.

I hope the gentlman that was taken to hospital makes a full recovery. As for the two in the police car. Less said I think.

Another great show this weekend, very entertaining with a good selection of Layouts and trade.

Hope the Gentleman makes a speedy recovery, and as for club members in a police car.....well there are a few that could do with a padded cell maybe not a police cell mind!

Many Thanks for the hard work Geoff and the crew.

Perhaps I should explain.

The van broke down on the climb of Derry Hill when returning to Calne to collect the second load. This left it in a dangerous position on an unlit stretch of the A4 main road in pitch darkness. A passing police car stopped and parked just before the van with blue lights flashing. The officer placed signs further down the hill to warn approaching traffic. Our guys were offered seats in the back of the police car because it was safer and warmer.

I left them in the back of the police car, waiting for the recovery vehicle.

Many thanks to Wiltshire Constabulary.
