RMweb Gold SouthernRegionSteam Posted February 7, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 7, 2015 As it happens I will be visiting tomorrow. Unexpected visit to my sister who lives in Yeovil, which has of course given us an excuse to pop in! Looking forward to it!
RMweb Gold SouthernRegionSteam Posted February 7, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 7, 2015 A really delightful show, and will definitely be coming back next time! The staff were all really friendly, food was superb (and very generous in portions!), layouts were great and overall a really nice atmosphere. Good to meet an RMwebber, SDJR7F88. The 2ft gauge Gartell Light Railway was lovely, although I think they need a bit of weatherproofing around the carriage doors! I chatted to the owner who seems like a top bloke, so overall, me and my dad had a fantastic day out! Well done to the organisers and exhibitors. I have just uploaded a gallery of images here on RMweb which you can find here. A little taster: Unfortunately I didn't make any notes, and never picked up a guide on entry to the exhibition, so apologies for the lack of info for each layout! Jam.
