We place an order, it charges, and then you manually refund and charge for real when it comes in? I only ask that with exchange rates that probably means a few dollars change between the first and second charges. I don't expect it to be enough for me to care, i just wanted to understand for sure how your pre-order system is working. Every time you post CAD's is pushes me more towards another purchase I don't need but kinda want anyways! Thanks Stephen Hi Stephen If you place your order via the website you will be charged immediately. If the model, such as the Steam Railmotor that of course you want / need, is not expected within 28 days, we then refund your card and charge again at time of despatch. If you are able to call us +44 1209 714099 to place an order we don't charge until ready to despatch, but you still need to provide your payment details. We will also deduct the VAT as you are overseas reducing the overall cost to you, all of which we hope helps with the decision, that you already know the outcome of really, to order... Hahaha, yes, it does feel inevitable that I will order one. Thanks for the clarification. I will no doubt place my pre order in the near future! Thanks for responding. County of Yorkshire
Has any thought been given to producing extra fishbelly bogies to sell as spares? There has never been, to the best of my knowledge, a fishbelly bogie done in RTR, and so I think they would be popular as individual items? I would certainly pick up half a dozen. Cheers, CoY 1

I said the same thing earlier on in the thread about the American bogies, had the same thought when I saw the fish belly bogies. They could be a nice little earner on the side.
Popular Post Tony Cane
On the basis that after an epic scratch build, or some complex kit building, with seemingly indecent haste, a RTR model of the same type appears, I decided to do what I can to advance this project. This Mallard Models kit was nearly completed some 25 years ago when a poor interaction with the floor, and a change of interests, resulted in it languishing in the “round tuit” box. How many months it will be before I have to get used to saying “No, it’s not the Kernow model actually”, is anybody’s guess. 19

When there's an update in sure it'll be posted. Last update from October it went to tooling so I would imagine we'd be seeing a physical sample soon. Denbridge
This has probably been asked and answered already, but im wondering whether Kernow also intend to produce the auto trailers that these became? 1

RMweb Premium melmerby Posted March 11, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2021 A contemporary panelled trailer would be nice, not necessarily a SRM conversion. They had a long life span, not going until the late 50s.
RMweb Gold 57xx Posted March 12, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 12, 2021 Yes, I did mean the trailers, not the auto-coach conversions, I misread Denbridge's question.

Michael Hodgson
Really looking forward to this one. I realise it's an unpainted EP, but looking at the roof views, but if ever a vehicle looked like it wanted weathering, it's the light grey of that roof.
