pauliebanger
My Powercab doesn't have a Brake button. Could you upload a picture to show where yours is please? Yes it does. (But it's hidden in plain sight, LOL). It's the default assignment for the 'OPTION' button, most of us reconfigure it to do something more useful, like operating as a SHIFT to access F keys between 10 and 28. Default action is simply to reduce speed steps to zero. 'Brake' effect depends on the value in the decoder's CV4. A bit too toy-like and unpredictable for my tastes. Use the decoder's Brake Key feature instead. Shelton. ZIMO decoders' brakes are highly configurable and progressive - the longer the application, the higher the 'brake force' applied. Pete the Elaner
A tip for those who may have visitors/friends/guests operating their locos: Back up your CVs, so if someone does something like change acceleration or momentum, you can easily re-write the correct settings to it.
