Scenery and flowers,bushes and backscenes.

I have just read on another forum about using wax crayons to make piles of rusting STUFF. The article can be found here http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/22124

Seems that by using this thread and the other one I have found a use for all my daughters old broken and forgot about wax crayons. Lots of flowers and rusty stuff coming just to clear some long forgotten drawer space.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Good article.

My main problem is finding where my daughters hidden ask of the crayon bits.

yeah and the back of the sofa. though the worst ones are the ones in plain sight on the carpet that are only discovered when they've just been trodden in

Ive been playing around with layered "brown" cotton this evening :paint:

and scatter mixs...

Then spraying it over with spray mount glue,

then sprinkling (Hornby) green scatter mixs onto the layered cris cross cotton.

When  dryed, adding my more glue to the ends.

And then adding my red fine crayon powder...

Hi Guys

This looks really neat; however over here in the states I cant find any thing called layered brown cotton. does any one know what the american term for this product is

Thanks

Dick
