I think this is a brilliant idea for getting small amounts of varying colours, the only concern I have, before I commit myself,  is how the wax will stand up to a hot summer in the loft or shed.

It should stand up pretty well, it would take an exceptional temperature of the sort that would cause other damage to a layout.

Ive not had any problems on my home layout with heat melting the fine powder crayons:good:

Pencils or chalks would be prity good idea!!!
