charliepetty
Has anyone had or heard of compatibility issues with ESU & Zimo sound decoders & Dcc Concepts/Gaugemaster non sound decoders. IE programming CVs, operating light functions and general operation/direction of travel etc. As we all know Hornby's earlier attempts into DCC didn't get off to a good start! Baldy
Charlie I am a dcc novice but am using an elink with dcc concepts (8 pin direct) and gaugemaster (assorted) non sound decoders, and your class 67 sound chip (which is superb). I also have one zimo sound decoder. You can't easily read/write to CVs above 255 but, other than that, am not aware of any problems and I also can't remember reading of any particular issues on the Hornby railmaster forum. John YouChoos
I've had numerous customer reports of RailMaster doing odd things to CVs, but not managed to nail down the exact scenario yet.
