Hi All can anyone give me their experience of using these?

Thanks

I've built about half a dozen of these things to power Simplex and Ruston kits and scratchbuilds in O14. Firstly, if you're working with a gauge of 16.5mm then don't bother, just buy a Tenshodo of the same 24mm wheelbase instead!

They can be made to run as well as a Tenshodo but they have the same gearing so won't ever run better. They need a lot of fettling of the main whitemetal casting with fine files to get everything right and if you don't file off enough on the keeper plate they won't run well but if you file off too much the meshing of the gears is affected and, again, they won't run well!
