RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted January 24, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 24, 2019 While sheep do indeed say 'Baa' quite a lot, in my not inconsiderable experience misspending my youth, not to mention a good bit of my middle age and some of my declining years until my knees got the scrut and gave out, they also say 'meh' quite a lot as well. You can sing duets with them as well; 'who wants to be a million....' (wait for ovine response). We don't have much to entertain us in Wales you know! Was he being rude about a cute little Peckett? And if so, what the Peckett say back to him? It's not fair that history is always written by the victors. RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted January 24, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 24, 2019 Perhaps odd to some, being a Welsh boyo but I do prefer to model my railways set in the West of England with the L&SWR, S&DJR and Midland being the main choice by far. The exception is the industrial side of things where the first port of call are the colliery railways of the South Wales Valleys with those of Somerset a very close second. However, when I have a dabble with O, that will be GWR...........set in Devon.......... Rob 4

Maybe it's an age thing with us all get a little crusty round the peripherals' as age creeps up on us. Fortunatly I've still got all (but one) my own teeth so don't have a problem sinking my knashers into the odd crusty bap but at my age although I'd prefer lamb, I have to be satisfied with the odd bit of mutton. I appreciate falsies might put some at a disadvantage. Edited January 25, 2019 by Porcy Mane 1

Porcy Mane
Which are the falsies, the teeth or the baps? Depends whether you are repressed, oppressed suppressed or depressed. F. Saunders.
