RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted December 19, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted December 19, 2020 Afternoon all. Norman has braved the elements and visited Sheep Dip. Motive power is always a lottery and all sorts appear. Therefore the appearance of a very clean Eastern Region Sentinel was taken in his stride. (Said it before, this needs weathering) Norman had wrapped up and was particularly glad he'd remembered to tuck his shirt into his underpants. Now to find the caff. The J70 was withdrawn in 1955...... but was probably in store for some time before that. Both the J70 and the Isetta would benefit from being toned down. Thanks you and kind regards, Professor P.E.Dantic Strictly speaking that is correct but in practice the meaning of, and the the number it refers to, are 'slightly' elastic. One will be told something will take a couple of seconds/minutes/hours/day/months.... or someone might say they are only going to have a couple of pints, often "a couple" means two or more but less than ten. No, no, no, no, no! It can only mean 'two!' I think the term with the elastic implications is 'a few!' I have no wish to comment on the state of other peoples' marriages, but my wife and I are a couple (of jolly nice people, I would like to add!) and the last time I looked, there was no other person or persons loitering with any kind of intent anywhere in the vicinity! 4 1 1
