Lanbton Muffler?

Seems to me that before you get to the procreation of lambs, you really need a Ramsdale Springs with it's associated Spring Water bottling plant.

Good to see you on the road to recovery from the plague... take it easy!!  Best wishes.

In other news, I have clearly been influenced by all this exposure to bucolic Ex-GER branch lines and have decided( no, really) that I will, contrary to my earlier shelving of the project, be building a small terminus at some point on which small Ex-GER engines may play.

Is this an IKEA joke hidden amongst the sheep?

Morning all.

Yesterday was a modelling washout. Not sure what happened really but what I do know is, I had a very easy and relaxing day.

However, I have occupied the dining table this morning and the game is afoot.

This will follow on from Outwool.

Working title for the terminus is Lambton Muffler, the latter cribed from a post elsewhere. The combination made me chuckle, actually no, it made me laugh out loud but then I am easily amused.

Very interesting indeed. It conjures up a picture in my mind, which I am not going to describe, as I don't want to be colouring your thinking and I can't wait to see what you come up with and surprise us all.

Evening all.

A funny weekend. To recap, plans were made to spend some time painting and weathering the buildings for Outwool.

Saturday was spent quietly relaxing doing much of nothing.

Sunday, the paints came out in relation to a small brick built hut. However, I quickly identified a significant faux pas.......I had run out of acrylic matt varnish.

Therefore things are on hold regarding weathering though painting is more or less complete.

The outstanding paintwork relates to the colour of doors and associated wood work.

Do I go for pre-1937 L&NER Brown and buff or post 1937 (ish) Green and cream (approx)........?

Oh and I have started looking at diesels. Not too seriously.......but I am looking..

The post above should have been a signal box.

The post with the signal box should have been the above post.......

Nope, me neither.

About flipping time!

Seriously though, it'll be interesting to see how a couple of diesels look. I thought I was going to have to model something green and place it on the layout when you're not looking. ;)

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Cheers,

Wayne

Hi Wayne.

Good to see you.

The diesel thing could be a while yet mind you......Two layouts to build first.....in theory....Don't want to get distracted.

Don't worry - perfectably acceptable behaviour...
