You could be missing a trick here Rob. Contact IKEA and ask if they've noticed a upsurge in the purchasing of their small tables and when they ask why your asking you can explain its down to all your followers buying them and would they consider sponsoring your next build. Yes. Still exclusively Humbrol powders. I'm used to the colours and blending them to get results. 

 

Latest victim is a bit if work on a notice board. These are printed jobs acquired from Ebay for the princely sum of £2.49. 

 

I thought I would have a dabble and for that money, if it didn't work out, we could try something else. 

 

The starting point was Whitley Bay to the left. 

 

 

 

Much use of Sharpies and powders later we end up with this slightly blurred image.

Afternoon, Grahame. I'm on quite the learning curve given my latest projects. I'm enjoying the change and finding new information about a region I gave very little attention to. I am of course focusing on minor Great Eastern lines as this is where my new found interest lies.

I missed out on the W&M railcars and as you say, when they come up for sale, bidding goes mad. I have the remnants of a motorised Airfix railcar, with a bit of careful bodging ( read - a new body kit from Dapol ) it might just see service again. But it really isn't in the same league.

They're a nice model, Rob. Its possible of course that they will reappear under the EFE branding as per the Hymek.......in fact  you can bet that as soon as I acquire one from Ebay having paid over the odds, they will do just that.......'tis the way....
