Mmmmm..........early crest.

Now, it may be the angle of the photo, but that there crest seems a tad off centre......

I think you may be right there.  The crest lines up with the box on the footplate.  There's a photo HERE of it wearing the later crest where that is clearly more central on the tank.  Interesting variation.

I've been thinking of, without inferred prejudice or similar suchlike,  but only in the first part hereafter, acquiring one or possibly two, though I do of course, hesitate to confirm or suggest that this may or may not prove to be the case, that we may or may not see other examples of said genre finding a new home at a location to be confirmed, in some way.
