Get out of town!

Are you allowed to tell us more?

I’ve only been to one in the last 30 years - Warley 2018. Definitely have an itch to get out and see some model trains in the real world!

I'd suspect it may be quite a while before exhibitions resume. The European Railway Association has already cancelled its September exhibition due to the fact that many exhibitors and some traders were unwilling to attend.

Compared to UK, much of Europe is still in a fine mess. No-one from those countries could commit at this stage.

True enough, but this a British organisation and I don't think they normally invite overseas-owned layouts.

So will there be real people on display or tailor's dummies?

Previous experience dictates that it may be difficult to tell though generally the dummies have better fashion sense than real people. In addition, dummies don't smell or wear rucksacks.

Time then to start adding a few finishing touches to Bleat.

Though very much the S&DJR layout, by way of variety, I may well take a couple of small but perfectly formed Southern tank engines and run as a Southern Region layout on the Sunday.
