RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted April 4, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 4, 2020 Morning. A somewhat older view this morning perhaps demonstrating how snug a fit the Peckett's are in the shed. The chimney of said loco is directly beneath the top of the doorway. ( shocking light dictates the quality of the original image, hence the tinkering) Rob. 24
RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted April 5, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 5, 2020 Morning all. We start the day off from with another dark/Peckett/sun image from the lens of Norman Lockhart. The Pecketts will of course be weathered in due course but I have run out of Matt Varnish.......I await new supplies which have been ordered direct from Humbrol. I tried a few places but it does appear to be in short supply. In the meantime, I shall add a bit of additional colour to the buildings and build the loading dock. I do like this shot for some reason Rob. To me it looks like a natural but badly taken pic of the real thing, as would have happened back in the day of Roll Film, and so adds to its realism, IMHO. Well done on a cracking little very photogenic Layout. Edited April 5, 2020 by Andrew P 1 2

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted April 5, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 5, 2020 Bleat Wharf has a new home in the spare bedroom which has evolved into a sort of railway room. Due to space constraints, I cannot attach Bleat's normal fiddle yard to allow it to be operated. However, a chance encounter with a small LACK shelf deemed to be surplus to requirements in the Memsahib Minor ' s bedroom has led to an alternative arrangement. This then is the When Erected Temporary Fiddle Area Redeployment Table or W.E.T.F.A.R.T for short. I can now indulge in limited shunting and effectively play trains. I thank you. Memsahib passed the shelf to me and asked if I could use it for anything...........Challenge accepted.....and adapted accordingly. In relation to the B4, I agree. It does look the part and they run so very well. Big for an 0.4.0T. I'm looking forward to the next batch with the K14 boiler.........
