It's clearly an unambiguous and aesthetically non-specific conceptual exclamation from the persona of one who is unremittingly juxtaposed between the twin expedients of Art and sub-contemporaneous but non-figurative contextualisation.

Thanks for posting,  Mike.

It's very nice  to see Sheep Lane again.

I've thought , more than once, about going back to the narrow shelves to use as baseboards.

Feel free to post more photos if you wish.

What other motive power pops up?

Rob.

Well first off, it has to get the approval of the layout enforcer. Baarbara...

How about a Q1, double Drummonds and a Beattie Well Tank?

Good to see Mike.

A nice selection of proper Western motive power.

Funny you should mention a Q1. I may well dig mine out.

Nice to see some modelling appearing on this thread.

Thanks Mick. It is getting a bit lost on here at present. Not ideal.

Here's a couple of older views of my M7.

These have long been a favourite of mine and Hornby nailed it.

My colleague in Plymouth considers us in Exeter to be in the north.
Another colleague lives in Cheriton Fitzpaine. He doesn't have responsibility for the orange paint pot, but he is the snow warden and has a yellow snow shovel. I said I wouldn't want to shovel yellow snow ...

I am a fan of Hornby's M7 as well. I do have a modelling related question for you, Rob. (:)) Have you found any problems with yours derailing when going over points? I suspect that the answer might be, "No", or you would have mentioned it along the line somewhere. I have an example that fails where others succeed, and your mention of the thing has brought it to mind. I have checked back-to-back and other common causes but this one locomotive's failing has me puzzled.

Hi Mick. Are we running bunker first or forwards?

Hi Rob, it happens when running forwards. The leading wheels try to go straight on over the common crossing. If it traverses the same point bunker first there is no problem.

There was a time when all 3 M7s derailed at the same point, but once I had flattened out the point (it had a raised area around the common crossing) the other 2 behaved themselves. No other locomotives have had a problem at this place, even when it was uneven.
