Thank St E.

I just want to tidy up the horizontal ones. There's a few stuck to the sides of the rails here and there.

But it can wait.......I've had enough of static grass for now......

This morning's photo is that of a couple of 16 tonners basking in the spring sunshine at Sheep Dip.

The weathering on those is just absolutely brilliant!!

Top, top work Rob!

All looks good Rob. I’ve been tempted down similar lines after seeing Chris Nevard’s ‘Brew Street’ in volume 7 of How to Build a Model Railway. If it wasn’t for the clearout I did earlier today I probably wouldn’t have unearthed it...

I’ve got a few unused boards in the garage so I might well end up building something similar to Brew Street. :)

In marked contrast to Norman ' s earlier effort, here's a very sub standard image offered simply to show an overview of the current state of affairs.  This is the one half of Sheep Dip.

Looking so natural Rob, how about borrowing Kevin's plane and a proper overall shot of the whole Layout, warts and all.

The siding behind the Nissan hut and the low wall - how easy is that to operate to uncouple wagons ?

You could use a strip of soft, clear plastic, pinned so it forms a hump.  It wouldn't show from the front of the layout.

By way of a diversion, I found this quite moving.....in particular the words used by David Hockney.

Yes, I just watched a report on this on the BBC news channel. It's a lovely place that he lives in.

But conceptually and in aesthetic terms, I found myself challenging the traditional notion of light and shade, in order to consider the verisimilitude offered by what can only be described as Art.

Darling.
