My 'Dodo' was an impulse buy at the Bluebell Railway shop soon after they came out.

It was on display in the cabinet so the assistant said it would take him a few minutes to find the box and pack it up.

"Is that the only one you've got?" I asked.

"Yes" he replied "after this one has gone, Dodos are extinct in Sussex."

Quite an amusing reply I thought.

I love engines that are less than an 0-6-0 with or without a tender behind, on the LSWR that woud have been known as an 01 and three quarters.
