Morning all.

After a brief industrial interlude, normal (!?!!) service is about to be resumed over the course of the weekend.

I'm hoping to lay the track and wiring for Lambstone. Note the 'e' which I feel softens things a bit.

Of note ( to me at least ) was the fact that all the plain track will come from various off cuts retained from Mutton and Bleat.

I have simplified the track plan a little, doing away with the bay. I am hoping that this trade off will allow a longer platform which in turn will add a feeling of more space to proceedings.

We shall see.

Morning all.

The small matter of an evening shift intruded yesterday and a later than anticipated arrival home at 3am has dented one's get up and go which appears to have gone at present.

Some progress was made yesterday....ish.

The MDF was purchased and cut to form the now standard 'box' around the IKEA table top.

This will be added today.

As mentioned before, I intend to use the lighting/fascia from Bleat as well as the fiddle yard to cut costs and provides a degree of standardisation so will be cutting the end which will form the entry from the fiddle yard accordingly.

I am hoping to have this together by this evening but progress will be gently made......

That all looks rather spiffing Rob.

Love the little water tower, almost steampunk in appearance.

The water tower is clearly far too small to give the little Terrier chaps a proper drink but it looks quirky enough and will stay. I plan to fit new legs and raise it up a bit.

It looks like the water tank may need to be raised to allow the outflow pipe to be above the tank filler of the little terrier or other locos that you may be using.

I did say............do keep up that man.........

Evening all.

Well, progress of sorts.

The MDF has now been attached and the basic layout is ready for the track to be laid.

Here are a few images of the mock up.

The water tower is clearly far too small to give the little Terrier chaps a proper drink but it looks quirky enough and will stay. I plan to fit new legs and raise it up a bit.

The goods shed will also have new legs and a few more tweaks.

The station building will have details added as will the engine shed.

Ground frame needs a chimney and fettling.

All will be repainted and weathered accordingly.

Concrete platform edging.

Van body will be replaced with a more elderly example and a few sheds dotted about.

Small timber coaling stage from strip wood.

The usual lamp things, telegraph poles and loading gauge to be knocked up along with station name board and fencing.

Grass and other weedy green stuff, a few flowers, bit of concrete, cobbles and ash along with general tat and distress applied should see it all finished off in a fairly prompt fashion.

Tidy.
