Don't get him going on art again

I wasn't planning on this right now, as I am contemplating spending an evening in the bath (but not this evening, another evening, at a time technically known as 'in due course').

Messers Pencarrot & Lots-of-Trees found a local Beer/Tap house during their last visit to Bishops' Lydeard, hence their pasty visages on the Sunday.

Only 256 days to go.

Yes, it was what we call locally an excellent pudding course.

And yes, there was a little bit too much pudding drunk and yes there was a little bit of pasty visage on the day of the show...

Is Polsarrett on the invite list one year?

All being well, I'm looking to make week end of  Staplegrove with an over nighter on the Saturday at least.

Someone has to try and keep Pencarrot out of the pub.

He looked  decidedly pasty on Sunday morning. Not to be confused with the Cornish pasties at Sunday lunchtime which had a much better complexion about them.

Rob.

I thank you for your support dear sheep, I shall wear it always.

PS you can try and keep me out of the tap house but I don't rate your chances

Glad to oblige, old fruit.

However, I think the best thing to do is to observe, being trained in such matters.

And the best location from which to observe is from a covert perspective.

51235 despite appearances was another Eastern Region loco............There's a pattern emerging here.

Getting even better, a York engine for a while...

Most 'Eastern Region' allocated pugs were at Goole, being the eastern extremity of the L&Y.

Ah!  Thanks. I did wonder why York and knowing even less about the rest of the Eastern Region than I do about East Anglia, I was going to look into it.

Still will of course being the curious type.
