I came across a N gauge Kato CV1 oval on ebay which I bought as it only measured approx. 32 cm across. A test run with a farish 03 was satisfactory, so I just needed to mount it on something. It would have been too easy just to cut some wood into a circular disc so after several weeks of searching I came across a lazy Susan in the 'Range' superstore in Hull. It was angled slightly towards the viewer and the weight of the rolling stock made the wheel rotate keeping the stock in the same position in relationship to the viewer. I'm not sure if this would work in N scale due to the lack of weight, perhaps removing the motors from the stock and making sure they are free running and motorizing the turntable might work.
