Good morning.

I have looked through your website, I can obtain most of what I need, but I have a question, you RTC sets are quite comprehensive, but I cannot find any for 'Cylops'. Will these be in the future at all? once I am completely unpacked from my house move I intend to finish some long drawn out projects and Cyclops is one.

I would need this side branding too if possible. (picture copyright Paul Bartlett)

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Dan

Only just seen this Dan as RMWeb doesn't get checked that often. I recall doing these in 7mm for a customer some time back and to the best of my knowledge the sizes were suitable (as there was a question mark over some pieces due to it being such a unique vehicle), so I can re-use the artwork and scale down to 4mm for you. Please do bear with me though. The current workload continues to be chronic with the added workload of it being Bachmann catalog season...

Thanks for your reply, there's no rush as I've plenty of other things to do. I will keep an eye on your website and on here for updates, cheers

With the kind permission of Andy, below are some of the new offerings to whet the potential modelling appetite. Given the high volume of new 7mm items hitting the market, the O gauge catalog is growing quickly. Packs to suit Dapol's brake van are currently in design, as a number have already asked. Meanwhile here's a lovely example kindly shared by Ian Godfrey of a 7mm GUV with a mixture of bespoke numbering and standard stock items.

...and another example in the form of BR blue 56076 Blyth Power in its heyday from Michael Doyle.

Michael and others are available to help in the Railtec Community.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I’d share a quick shot of 40012/97407. It’s the old first released Bachmann 40 that I’ve had since new sat doing nothing. A 40 doesn’t really fit my modelling era but I always wanted to model 40012 after reading an article in the old pull out modelling bit of Rail magazine from the early 90’s. I needed a few transfers for a couple of projects so added Steve’s 40 pack to the order, arrived next day and a few odd hours since has allowed me to easily turn my old 40 into 40012.

Thanks

Mark

Just a quick vote of thanks to Steve, my class 50 fleet has been produced using his complete transfers sets, I'd have run out of patience well before the end if I had to line-up individual digits !! :O  :O

It's taken quite a few years to get them all done, but Steve's service has been consistently excellent.

Cheers,

Phil.

Hi mike,

You've quite often been there when I've got the plates off Brian, but you're usually having a Blades V Owls discussion with my Dad !!

Cheers,

Phil.

Ah, yes, I remember. I believe I might also have mentioned you were doing the 50's in the wrong coloiurs also!

Mike.

Hercules is in the wrong colour

Hercules will be modelled in it's current condition (well, with 007 on both sides, not 006 one side 007 the other!)

Defiance will also be modelled as it is now (but without 011 on one side)

That'll be my railtour pair for the current era.

But I'm in no rush, so I'll let Steve prepare for, and recover from, the chaos that is Warley before I put an order in for the transfers !!

Cheers,

Phil.

A delivery of new SGT transfers for 977985/986 arrived yesterday. The plan is to have them running on New Bryford at Warley next weekend.

More excellent service from Steve.

Cheers,

Mick

I remember when it was repainted, the 50 fans were annoyed with the rename, when there was enough unnamed 47s.

Never saw it in green without the name Hecules marked on it somewhere

Mind you I wanted the composer renamed to fix it as well.

Thanks Mick. Will have to figure out whereabouts you are in the hall and strategically plan a flying visit past the stand to see what you've added this time round.

Stand A36. I'll only have a couple of yellow sets as I only run 2 test trains max on New Bryford.

Will try and make sure its the new logo stuff. Certainly a SGT pair.

Cheers,

Mick

It is not often that I find a reason to compliment someone, but I have to compliment Steve at Railtec. I ordered a couple of sets of individual loco transfer sets, among a couple of other packs, and despite one set needing a little research on it, the 4 sets arrived in the post this morning. Exceptional service from Steve and anyone else working with him at Railtec

Many thanks.

Paul J.

PS. If only I could produce the models as quick?

Thanks Paul. Glad Royal Mail did their bit too to help achieve the <24hrs from order to delivery. Despite Warley being just a few days away there are custom runs taking place several times a day now, so slotting in custom-made loco numbers or complete loco packs w/ number of choice has gotten to be like clockwork. Now if only the pile of LNER, LBSCR and S&DJR research on my plate was as easy to tackle...

Delighted with the Railtec transfers I've received so far (Grampus / MCV / 'Stone' TOPS). More on the way to New Zealand. Quality product. I will be sending him a load of MCO photo image links in the hope of getting a set this year!

Fantastic service from Steve last week.

I took delivery of the decals for 60095 on Wednesday and then sent an email to see if Steve could do all the black sole bar signs for the loco.

Response same day and FOC decals on my doormat Saturday morning.

Outstanding service and best decals on the market and such brilliant customer service.

An extremely satisfied customer thank you

John
