These 3D nameplate transfers are brilliant and alot easier to manoeuvre into place compared to etched and they look just as good . Do make sure you apply a layer of gloss varnish onto the model first though. (I tried to take a shortcut and apply them directly to the model and they kept rolling up so do take care)

It should only be a handful of overseas IPs that are blocked by the host provider - usually those in China / Russia (and possibly a few others) which seem to have a habit of trying to do things they shouldn't. If you're having an issue getting to the site then PM me and I should be able to get you on.

I recently used my first Railtec transfers from the NCB pack. They really are superb, the film is so thin and has totally merged with the model.

 

A very happy customer and now hoping to get some custom prints done.

Well as I said on the N forum Steve has pulled a ace out of the pack in both 2 and 4mm with a set of red and yellow lines complete with an orange cantrail - this makes like more than bearable !!!! cheers Steve.

It's great to see a thread with no negative comments (apart from website access issues for some).  A couple fo quick questions for those who have requested custom packs:

1. How do prices for custom packs compare with the costs of similar packs already in the range?; and
2. How much photographic information did you provide Railtec with?  I'm assuming that a number of good square on photographs are required to make the transfers, which points to some vehicles being easier to do than others.

I worked with Steve at Railtec to commission the FGW 'Fag packet' transfers which were fantastic, prices were pretty much the same as what you see on the website, and certainly worth the cost considering the time & effort you'd spend faffing around with printing yourself on decal paper and varnishing to get them ready for application - the big win for me however is that Railtec can print gold and metallic colours!

 

As for photos, I just supplied Steve with actual, scaled artwork I'd created and he'd souped it up to print a great decal with glorious metallic gold! I'd definitely use Railtec again
