When was the last in operation? Last known use of steam heat on BR (diesel traction) was March 1986, when the last boilered 37/0s came south from Scotland, replaced by ETH 37/4s. Though there is a discussion on one of the bashers groups about a 37/0 being de-isolated (by putting the boiler control fuse back in!) in Dec 1987, again in Scotland.
