great central Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 It is with great sadness we've learned that Chris White passed away yesterday. He was the ever present jovial face behind the paydesk at the Nottingham Show. He'd always got a smile for everyone. Something of a shock, we had been told he was ill but didn't expect the news so soon. An accomplished modeller, he was working on the Market Witham layout only a couple of weeks ago, helping to get it to it's first show, something he'd been pushing us to do for years. He was also a long time volunteer and eventually chairman of the Tallylyn Railway, something I didn't know. We'll miss you this weekend Chris.
