Had a little night time running session last night and i'm really pleased with how the yard lights illuminate the layout.

Really enjoying running this little layout and the scenic sector plate makes for interesting moves.

All good practice ahead of the Weston on Trent show next month.

Also a possibility of the BRM shows next year, fingers crossed.

An old beast turned up to work Neptune street yard last night 08915, hasn't seen much action lately to it arrived with a TTA for repairs.

Managed to get on the bridge for a final shot :)

All good Neil - good to see you posting and keeping up to date.

Cant beat an 08 and a TTA - nice and cheap unlike the 13 Castle JPA at  average £25 a pop :O

Ian

Thanks Ian , it's hard to keep updates as there is not much building going on.

New personal project started so I'll get a page made up soon and Neptune will be the show layout for LLC

What are you up to at the moment??

One of yours Neil? :D

Looks very good.

As regards being up to whatever - garage layout all done bar a few minor tweaks but good to be running (with a teenager) a full Castle JPA rake and  EWS 66  - local interest up here as Castle Cement is near Clitheroe.

Funds tight as other interest (Carbon Poles not cheap) eventually want to run a FLiner70 with JNA  MTA OBA MHA consist as the Basford to Carlisle flow.

Maybe DRS 20 on Flasks to Heysham and a couple of DMU hopefully a Realtrack 144.

Good feature in Model Rail - you have come along so much.

Ian

Hi Ian

Yes that is one of mine, i didnt realise it was being sold, satisfying to know its up for that much too :)

Things have changed so much for me and the business has gone leaps and bounds and still growing.

I look back at the days of pilot road and Deeping lane and and then look at Eddington Yard and think yeah thats not a bad improvement hahaha

Pictures look "stunning" my mate...

Thanks mate:)

Lookin' good Neil, another good layout...

Thanks George

I can't take full credit as it was originally built in 2008 and featured in Railway modeller the same year, i can take credit in renovating it and adding DCC and lighting and the building repairs and bringing it back to its best again.

I hope the original builder of the layout is happy with what i have done and its a testiment to his skills that it is still about and doing shows again after 7 years.

small running session last night to make sure the layout and locos were running nicely so i couldnt resist a full line up shot ahead of the Weston on Trent show this weekend.

Please pop by and say hello.

We will be there with the Little Layout stand and Neptune Street.

Morning Neil, Nice to see you and your wife on Saturday, Sorry mate but I didn't get any pics of Neptune St but its so inspirational.

Thank You Andy, it certainly is a little different with that sector plate, made my brain hurt all day haha

Great to see you and West Shed.

I have changed my plan for Ralphingley Road now due to yours and added a little more TMD feel ( yeah i know back to a TMD again )

I do like the look of it, I'm sure the new owner is enjoying it.

Did you find out if he's on RMweb?

No, I'm afraid he isn't, he did let me have a go though and I had an enjoyable half hour or so playing with the layout, I really like the scenic fiddle yard.

Steve.
