I bought a Yellow  Bachmann 0n30 Whitcomb Diesel loco this  week,  my intention being to  heavily  weather it,  I have   just  fitted  the  sound  module  and  I must  say  that  I quite  like  the  colour in its pristine condition, I did not think I would  but  it  really is a lot better in reality  than in  the  catalogue pics.

 

So I will let  it  stay  pristine  for  a  while,  most unrealistic  i know  and  eventually  it  will become  dirty.

 

I am still very impressed  by  the  solid  sure  footed  performance of  these  diesel locos, no doubt  assisted  by  its  750gram weight
