It's less of an issue in the UK, where rail service reaches most of the country. But in North America, the number of modellers who have ridden a train in the last 40 years is probably a minority compared to those who haven't. I must make that happen. And yes, sometimes you really need to stay far, far away from Elmo in Times Square, for a number of reasons unless of course, you are a generous tipper.
