Just working through but time is very limited just now. Excellent news, many thanks for that, I'll keep an eye on your website. That signal box should be ideal for a plan I have in mind. steveb860
Probably not the right thread, but more likely the right target audience. . I 'm slowly working my way through building my first Intentio 7mm kit, the modern bothy. My thoughts have turned to how to finish the flat roof, and how others have done theirs. I have come up with using wet and dry paper covering, coating with suede coat, or even using aircraft modellers tissue and dope. What have others successfully used?
BrushType4
We are pleased to announce that from 31st March, KS Laser Designs will merge with Intentio. Intentio has been trading since 2014 and has in that time developed a reputation for a high quality range of lasercut kits and in particular bespoke commissions. The new owners are looking forward to bringing their wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry to developing and expanding the current KS Laser Designs range while maintaining quality and competitiveness. The website and products will continue and we look forward to developing the range along side Intentio. www.kslaserdesigns.com 2

An interesting development. In my case, it's actually very interesting - as I'm likely to be looking at products from both ranges (actually in different scales!) in a few months' time. At Saturday's "NEWGOG" show, I had a close look at some O gauge stock cassettes - the shortest version looks perfect for some inspection railcars I'm working on (about which I don't want to say too much until I've got something to show). However, I'm usually more active in OO. Although I'm not yet in a position to start work on a planned portable "switching puzzle" layout, I've made no secret of liking a number of former steam sheds which were rebuilt with rectangular fronts (by which I mean Northwich etc). I'm not sure how many "roads" I'd be looking for - but the KS kit KS36-03-02 is pretty close to the style I'm talking about. There's no mad rush here (I've got other stuff to sort out first!) - but I could imagine myself heavily customising any "shed" kits I eventually buy - "low profile" (more or less filling one end of a short layout) - "brick clad", with "concrete" where the ends of roof beams and "fume extraction ducts" are fixed to the front wall - DIY lighting (have I ever mentioned that I really like LEDs?) - stuff like that. In other words, I could imagine myself buying a couple of kits that quickly become unrecognisable. So I can see some business from me, in the medium term. Actually, this won't be the first time I buy from Intentio - and it also won't be the last.

B15nac
Looks fantastic as always with your models. Those windows look very nice indeed. Your Lazer cut models are the best available in my opinion. Please please make the Slough coaling stage in 4mm next!? Can't wait for that. Regards Neil

BrushType4
Once described as East Anglias prettiest railway bridge dating from 1846 and is in fact a listed building still very much in use today. I’ve been keen on a model of this for a few years so it’s great to now have this beautiful bridge in 4mm model form on our workbench today. There is already several hours of survey and design work gone into this and that’s before a few hours of laser time. A few more bits lasered today will finish it off and then it will be in primer this evening for viewing by the Bury St Edmunds MRC. The arch under was particularly tricky with its complex double curve. We didn’t have enough time to calculate the geometry for a precision laser cut part. Instead an oversize piece will be lasercut and then trimmed by hand. It’s been put the the MRC that the 75 year anniversary of the club should be to build Bury St Edmunds Station of which this bridge would be part. Much of the drawing and Cad has been completed. I think if the club don’t go for it a small but dedicated group of us will do it anyway.
