RMweb Gold MarshLane Posted May 21, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 21, 2016 Do you do, or have any plans to do a traditional GWR timber signal box, akin to the style on the demonstration lines at Didcot? Rich
BrushType4
Do you do, or have any plans to do a traditional GWR timber signal box, akin to the style on the demonstration lines at Didcot? Rich Yes mate, send me a PM if you'd like one.
delticfan
Was the ARP signal box a widely used design in wartime, I only ask because it looks very similar to a grainy video of some wartime boxes in the York / Selby area. The only difference is these had quite a tall chimney attached to them. I presume the jutting out bit was a lavatory.
BrushType4
Yes I think ARP style was used where greater protection was required.
brossard
Over on the Little Loco Company thread, you mentioned that you could do a LNER shed like the Doncaster shed pictured in post 367 if there were enough preorders. I see that a GER shed has already been produced and looks superb. I assume that model is sold out. Anyway, I'd sign up for a model of the Doncaster shed, or even a rerun of the GER shed. I posted here because it didn't seem fair to intrude on Steve's thread. John

I need ten to make it work ideally.
