RMweb Gold DaveF Posted May 31, 2015 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 31, 2015 Something of a German miscellany tonight. Quite often when I'm sorting out photos I come across one or two of a place which don't always fit into a neat group to post. This is the case for some of tonight's images. The first one is at Elbingerode which is on the Rubeland Bahn in the former East Germany electrified at 25kVAc. It's quite simple, I used to use two film cameras, a Minolta SLR and an Olympus compact so it depends on when the films came back from the processors. Edited as I seem unable to spell Austrian place names today. David Edited June 4, 2015 by DaveF
flapland
Nice set of photo's again. I am off to Austria tomorrow although I suspect like the UK the range of interest is much reduced today. I might get to go into Hungary for the day which may bring some interest although I am not sure I will get many photos as my other half isn't really into trains. RMweb Gold DaveF Posted June 8, 2015 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 8, 2015 Hello Dave. I have just discovered your thread and I am VERY impressed. I will be following this thread from now on. Do you have more photos of DB Era 3 as this is the era I wish to model in 0. At present I am collecting stock from Lenz, MBW, Brawa etc. Look forward to your next batch of pics. Rod I have a few of Dad's at Saarbrucken in 1967, apart from that they are mainly 1990 onwards. Even in the 90s some stock was in Era 3 colours. There are a few with German stock elsewhere in 1978 and 1988/9 There are also a few of my black and white photos at Saarbrucken in 1967 somewhere in this thread: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/77924-dave-fs-own-black-and-white-photos-1960s-completed-30th-december/ Sorry but I can't remember where they are in the thread! I do have several thousand colour scans of mine and Dad's slides taken in Europe, so it could be a long thread! Some in 1967, some in 1978, then 1988 to around 1997, the majority are Swiss, but there are quite a lot in Germany and other places. David
