This means it could be replaced with another component with 2 large fans for the 2100, 2130, 2141, 2150 and 2170 class. Put on an air conditioner pod and you have a 2450 cass. Put on a smaller fuel tank and you have a 2470 class. So for essentially one set of tooling plus some plug and play add ons you get 8 different locos.
