Good call will need to add some crossing boards and some equipment cases

cheers

Nik

hate to be picky, but,

the mast for the mobile phone antennas looks great, but it needs some sort of equipment cabinet at the bottom to house all the radio kit that would be connected to all those antennas.

Also, how would the maintainer get to the site?

brilliant depot scene BTW. :)

Thought I would add some general photos of the layout to date.

Comments always welcome

Nik

Also the next part of the layout has arrived and that is the covering for the helix which eventually will be an industrial area for steel traffic I think

Loving the wagons in the yard.

I do like the "fiddle yard" in the layout situation - something I've replicated with mine - although at times it looks "too busy"

Maybe that's just looking at the sad state of Bescot & Toton these days....

It's a bit like a TMD - actually looks better with fewer locos in it !

Regards

Nick

It's a Britannia models version of the tamper weathered by a friend -  Jon Gavin

Nik

Where did you get your plasser tamper from.i have been trying to get my hands on one for a few years now with no luck.

Well a bit more modelling done however realised I had'nt put pictures of the other side of the layout on the post.  This area is a large MPD based on Wigan Springs Branch (my version).  Due to its size I have had to amend the track layout and squeeze it in somewhat.  So far on the pictures it shows the track and ballasting as well as some of the lighting in place.

Just for info I am getting a scale replica of the Wigan depot built by Gravy Train off the RMWeb membership as his work is second to none.

Nik

Enjoy.

Ps also a rake of charter stock has arrived from the classified section of RMweb with white roofs which I have been after for a while.

Good Morning All

Well the day has arrived for me to collect the Wigan Depot building built by Gravey Train on here.  Once again he has produced a wonderful building.  Here are a few shots from him and I will take some more when in situ later today when I have collected it.

Cheers

Nik
