If your near either call and say hello

Ray

Would be delighted to see visitors to the Wakefield Show, but then I would be biased. Looking forward to seeing the layout once more. Edited by enginelane

Social beer is being provided by a local micro brewery called Jolly Boys. Apologies as your accommodation is another 600 metres further away from the Pie Shop when you return on Saturday night but you do get complementary gym membership during your stay!

Logistics are at an advanced stage, (depending if I can cadge a lift in on Saturday morning, after breakfast) and that's all depends on how much falling down water we get Friday night!!!!

Just a bit to far a walk.

Well that was Wakefield, one of the best show I've been to in a while

Layout performed well all weekend, lots of interest, especially my card system, also meet a few followers of this thread, hope they all enjoyed the layout.

That it for this year, just one exhibition booked next year Stafford, couple of inquires but no paperwork from either yet, this will give me time to plan and build a replacement

Mick, that leasser will be ok.

This is End of the spurs last show of the year, so if you want to see in the flesh, get down to Blackburn this weekend.

End of the spurs last exhibition(unless some of those numerous invite come to fruition) will be at Railex NE in July, after which it will be retired, then either scrapped, rebuilt or sold.

Thanks to Ray (and Dave) for leaving me in charge for an hour or so.

I brought along a guest loco and as penance, was handed the controller.........

Something yellow beckons for Sunday working at Blackburn.

I did promise something yellow....

Ex-UP B30-7 B40-8 #1847

It had a strange fault  - sound was on, but it would stop, pause and then move again......

An internal investigation is required.

Cheers,

Mick

There your problem, it thinks it a B30-7, when it's a B40-8, and my dcc system not liking anything yellow!!!!

Enjoyed the Weekend at Blackburn show, just one more show next year, also well done to 29th St wharf for winning best continental layout!

As to the future of the layout I've narrowed it down now to two options, sell or convert 2 boards to British diesel outline!!

It will be a real shame to see "EOTS" vanishing after just one more show, Ray.  However, to retain some of it's features, it would be interesting to see it adapted to GB.

Thank you for your kind words.
