  4. Quorn, in common with other fake meats, is incontestably ultra-processed. Evidently, this is not an issue for the animal welfare, vegetarian and vegan groups that hail such confections as a potential end to animal slaughter and the misery of factory farming Source https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/feb/12/quorn-revolution-rise-ultra-processed-fake-meat#:~:text=Quorn%2C in common with other, the misery of factory farming.

  7. Sandy took her mother and her aunt on holiday many times, and once did Millook south to north in a little Suzuki three cylinder jobbie. She said her mum was having kittens all the way up. Her aunt (who will be 94 on Thursday) loved it. (Memo to self - get a birthday card and pressie.) (that Suzuki was a great little car.)

  13. I;m on my own, and bought a cooker with a dual oven. Apart from casseroles and roasts I use the smaller oven. I understand the energy saving, but I'd need to do a helluva lot of cooking before out paid for itself, I think. Then as @Smiffy2 has said there's the cleaning

  15. I have a microwave - haven't used it for about three years. Air fryer? What for? Is there anything that cooks better than in a conventional oven/hob? 'Cos that's what I use.
