This is a family themed show utilising mainly club and club member's layouts in various scales. There will be trade support, club shop, demonstrations and a full refreshment service.
(*) All children will have the opportunity to visit Santa and receive a small present.
Admission price includes entry to the 009 Gauge Society Railway Modelling Show - layouts, traders, demonstrations and society stands.
There will be a total of 19 layouts on display (11 Rainhill MRC exhibition and 8- 009 Society). See our website 'www.rainhill mrc.org' for full details.
A free vintage bus service will operate throughout the day between the exhibition and the North West Museum of Road Transport, Hall Street, St Helens. Whilst the ride is free, admission to the museum is payable on the door.

Falkirk Model Rail Exhibition is pleased to welcome all visitors on the weekend of 24th and 25th Nov 2018.
Held at the Forth Valley College, Grangemouth Road in Falkirk.
Featuring over 20 model layouts, vast array of trade and the infamous café makes for a perfect day out in Falkirk.
The event is supported by Rainbow Railways and tickets are available to purchase on the door.
If your travelling from afar why not visit the Kelpies or the Falkirk wheel.

0Whitby MRCs annual show returns on Saturday 18th July & Sunday 19th July 2026 10-4 in the Village Hall at Goathland (YO225JS), we have 7 layouts, Admission this year is £5, with accompanied children going for free, and yes, we do take cards!
So far layout wise we have Spital Bridge in O and Chop Gate in EM, South 6th Street Yard in HO, and Scrayingham in 009 and more
We are also pleased to welcome the designer of the Hornby Steampunk range who will be at the show both days with his personal layout and vintage toy collection.
Our annual show returns for 2026 with layouts in a variety of scales and gauges.
We are on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July 2026 10-4 each day.

0After another successful show the Chatham & District model railway club are excited and proud to announce the 2026 chatham show at the historic dockyard chatham and slip 5.
Advanced tickets are available on our website now which are £10 instead of £11 and also means you can get in at 9.30am instead of 10am. Under 16s are free. It will have 100+ exhibitors with over 45 layouts
List will be updated as everyone books in
Half price entry to historic dockyard chatham with show tickets.
Onsite parking £3.50 for up to 7 and half hours.
Local arriva bus from chatham train station number 1-2

Weston-Super-Mare Model Railway Show 2026

Great mix of layouts and trade,
....but the floorplan created real bottlenecks around the entrance which was also the route between halls (via the changing rooms!) and so was already going to be busy anyway. But there were further trade stands and coffee stand put there.... creating groups of people lingering and blocking...... why oh why!
The catering van outside - ended up giving up because as we all stood queuing to buy food, nothing happening in the van, there was a lot of playing with kids and babies but the 4 people there couldn't manage to free up one to take orders.

SOUTHAMPTON MODEL RAILWAY SHOW -JANUARY 24TH/25TH 2026

Despite South West Trains' best efforts I managed to get to the exhibition on time. I had my doubts when they announced at Southampton Central Station that my train would be running non stop to Waterloo but I got on a Cross Country train that stopped at Southampton Airport. The pictures show:
1. My arrival at the exhibition on a heritage bus provided by the organisers.
2. There were a lot of people at the exhibition and a huge queue for the coffee machines. There seemed to be more people there than in previous years.
3. Essence of Ventnor in 0 gauge was one of the splendid layouts there. I saw it last year at the Brockenhurst exhibition.
4. Seaton Junction in 00 gauge was another interesting layout. There was an N gauge model of Seaton Junction at Pecorama that it donated to our model railway club so I found it interesting to see Seaton Junction in a larger scale.
I was not so lucky with my return journey as South West Trains was unable to run any trains from Southampton Central to Bournemouth and Weymouth so I ended up having to catch a taxi to Bournemouth.

WMRA Annual Exhibition

Excellent show. plenty of free parking, over 30 layouts, lots of traders and full catering. I liked the scenery on the illustrated 009 gauge Feorag layout set in an imaginary island west of Cornwall. TT:120 seems to be well received with two small oval layouts on display.
