"Diesel Conversions and more" by Dave Hawkins

Dave Hawkins will be well known to regular members of our group with several layouts presently being exhibited and as a leading member of SHMRC.

I have persuaded Dave to tell us about the many Diesel locos and DMUs he has converted and all the extra work he has done to them. So this should be interesting for all, no matter what period you model as his talk is expected to be full of lots of modelling tips Some of the SHMRC layouts will be erected and available for running, so members are encouraged to bring models to display and run, before the talk, during the break and after the talk.

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available at the meetings.

At the end of the evening members are invited to join the Portsmouth locals at "The Churchillian" next to the clubrooms before they go home.

The meeting is open to all, whatever scale and standards you work in.
