The Bluebell Railway will be holding it's first Model Railway Weekend on the 7th and 8th of July. Layouts and Traders will be at at Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes Stations and will be located in the Locomotive Workshops, Carriage Works, Waiting Rooms and Platforms. Entry to the event will be by Platform Ticket or Train Ticket for the days Bluebell service trains. The layouts and stalls will be open from 10am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
00 gauge layouts include / from: Hornby with a DCC demonstration layout, Appledore, Wiston Pond, Denton Road and The Horsted Keynes Model Railway Group.
N gauge layouts include / from: A demonstration layout from Graham Farrish representing Bachmann UK, Plemont (European N), The Sussex N Gauge Society and layouts by Ian Redman.
O gauge layouts include / from: The Tin Plate Line, Lionel American, The O Gauge Society and Mathew Cousins.
In addition the Brickish Association and the Southern Lego Train Club will have a layout and stand and Atlantic House will be open so that people can view current progress on New Build H2 Brighton Atlantic No 32424 "Beachy Head".
Traders include: Signalbox, Martells, Model mania, Jonathan Clay, Simply Southern, 75D Railway Books, Carriage and Wagon Models, Mainline and Maritime Books and various society stands.
The event is being held in support of the Bluebells final push to East Grinstead and any donations would be most gratefully received.
