John will describe changes to landscape and buildings during the inter-war years that were the result of the rapid development of motorised transport.
John Minnis is a Senior Investigator at English Heritage. He has been involved with The Car Project which examined the impact of the car on places and buildings over the last 100 years.
Pendon will open at 1830 and participants may tour the museum before the talk starts at 1930. Light refreshments will be available (free of charge) during this time. The Talk will end at 2100.
