Guest
Not sure, but the mother-in-law is visiting later. I'll ask her. She usually cultivates a bumper crop for personal use.

Baby Deltic
Hold on a minute CK, hold on. You're speaking using secret Padstow code here aren't you? When you say "when do a prune my brooms" what you really mean is "when do I dig my parsnips" don't you? In which case, you'd better check here: http://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to-harvest-and-store-parsnips

That could be a problem way down South West in Cornwall. Bernard
hoovernut
What's the difference between a brush and a broom? You never hear a car go brush. Got me coat and know exiting the building.

Attack with a flamethrower whenever you have one to hand. This will not kill the plant, but does slightly curb its desire for world domination. Baby Deltic
If you want a plant hellbent on world domination, bracken would be that plant.

jonny777
My Dad was a big fan of Kenneth Horne radio shows. I used to listen to them, but as a child most of the double-entendre was over my head.

34theletterbetweenB&D
If you want a plant hellbent on world domination, bracken would be that plant. I'd welcome bracken which you can easily halt by rolling on it, over such monsters rampant in the UK such as Japanese knotweed (straight through concrete foundations!) and giant hogweed. And in the super-noxious division, try offering the South-Eastern USA a trade of 'all our bracken for all your kudzu'; they would bite your hand off.
