Andy Y
We even provide one - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?app=pixlr Alternatively Irfanview is very good for batch re-sizing and watermarking etc.

APOLLO
Agree re Irfanview, I've been using it for years. Just remember when finished working on an image to "save as" or the image original will be changed permanently. Brit15
Adrian Wintle
I just use Paint - comes built-in with Windows. Adrian
shortliner
Black Rat - this is another good one and the first and the last on the list are freebies http://www.faststone.org/. TBH having just upgraded to PSP8 Ultimate I rarely use it or Irfanview any more
Kickstart
Hi Another vote for irfanview. I use it quite regularly as it can batch resize images. I have often resized ~4000 images at once with it All the best K
Bill
I always use Photoshop - not only is it excellent for cropping and resizing.. But most photo's need other kinds of treatment to bring out the best in them. Colour, contrast, tone, saturation, blemishes removed, etc., They all usually need tweaking in some way or another. Titles can be added and so on.. Expensive? - well I suppose so. But have always found it to be a reliable tool... However... Probably overkill - and not worth the cost for what are proposing to do.. (Also there is Photoshop Elements that came free with my Epson scanner - but I have never used it. So I would not know whether to recommend it or not...)
